Today CNC Design operates globally with offices throughout Australia, New Zealand and SE Asia plus sales representation in the US. CNC Design represents Siemens for Motion Control (MC) as a distributor & service partner and Güdel for modules and components.
Founded in Melbourne in 1984, CNC Design has become the leader in motion control & drive-based solutions throughout Australia, New Zealand and South-East Asia and is the world’s largest CNC retrofitting and CNC machine company.
We are the exclusive Siemens representative for machine tool products in Australia and SE Asia where supporting sales, engineering, and service.
We have over 150 people located in our offices in Australia, Indonesia, New Zealand, Thailand, Malaysia, and Singapore.
In recent years CNC Design has focused on becoming a complete mechatronic solution provider to machine builders and end customers worldwide. Today, with our experienced engineering and mechanical design team, plus our relationship with Siemens and Güdel, we have achieved that goal.

We also boast a diverse workforce with at least 7 nationalities represented in our Australian team alone. Across our entire organisation we work with a One Team approach and our success in many large projects is only possible using the resources of multiple offices.
